We Can No Longer Contain Containers!

Depsite naysayers (you know who you are!) I've been saying this is the year for containers, and half way into 2016 it's looking like I'm right. The container community is maturing enterprise grade functionality, perhaps modeled on virtualization predecessors, extremely rapidly. ContainerX is one of those interesting solutions that fills in a lot of gaps for enterprises looking to stand up containers in production. In fact, they claim to be the "vSphere for Containers".

ContainerX provides a QoS driven multi-tenant platform (with "Elastic Clusters(tm) & Container Pools(tm)") and runs both Linux and Windows (uniquely it appears, supporting .net apps) containers (currently Docker). And now anyone can roll out a multi-tenant capable container hosting solution in a few minutes with a free (20-core) download of ContainerX (and an AWS acct) and be off and running without even installing docker locally.

This is almost too easy. Even I have an AWS account (if you have amazon Prime, you are almost there too!).  I'm tempted to open up shop as a container-oriented SP.  Except I think this secret is now out!  At least this IT industry analyst work never gets dull.
